5 TV Moments You Still Remember (And Probably Won't Forget)

Buffy (Welcome to the Hellmouth) – At The Bronze when Cordy is asked to dance by Vamp-Jesse (the song Ballad for a Dead Friend by Dashboard Prophets starts). But really it’s when Darla and the rest of the vamp crew arrive. That song worked so well, the cutting was just awesome!

Firefly (Serenity) – This is two part, first is when River is first revealed in the box, then when she scares the shit out of the crew when she comes out of it. The second part would be Simon explaining how smart River is to the crew, it just portrays in that small scene exactly how Simon feels about her.

The Outer Limits (Abduction) – All the narration for this episode. The opening was “When a heart has been turned cold by anger and grief, can patterns of destructive behavior be averted or are they predestined?”

The closing was “In an ever more complex and dangerous world, vigilance and guidance is needed for those most vulnerable to its cruelties... our children.”

Dark Angel (Freak Nation) – The second to last scene after the cops chase Max and the others back to Terminal City.  Max’s whole speech was very well done.  “Aren't you tired of living in darkness? Don't you want to feel the sun on your face? To have a place of your own where you can walk down the street without being afraid? They made us, and they trained us to be soldiers, to defend this country. It's time for them to face us and take responsibility, instead of trying to sweep us away like garbage. We were made in America and we're not going anywhere. So they call us freaks; who cares? Today I'm proud to be a freak. And today we're gonna make a stand, right here. Who's with me?” (the made in America is a bit cheesy but, gosh that’s a great speech).
