REQUEST FILLED - LiveJournal Layout: Luna/Ginny

This layout was requested by

crimsonwhisper. The second layout has as much of a shippy feel as I was able to achieve, because I believe that's what

crimsonwhisper was looking for.

Note: While it is not ever required that you host the image on your own server (or really somewhere free like Photobuck or ImageShack) I am going to start requesting that you do.

There are three images within the code: under "body," "#sidebar," and "#header." All you need to do to host these somewhere else is (for example with ImageShack) under upload click "URL" then paste any of the urls from the code (from http://... to .jpg) and click upload, a new url will be given to you (make sure to take the last one it says "direct link to image") then copy and paste that url where the old one use to be in the code. And there you have it, your own hosted image for the layout.

Now the reason I'm asking this is because, while ImageShack (and Photobucked) do offer quite a bit of hosting time and bandwith use for image you have on there, I've had problems with some layouts in the past having headers or backgrounds disappear. I'm just trying to make it so this will hopefully no longer happen. Thanks!

Made With S2 and Flexible Squares Layout

UPDATE: USING NEW CUSTOMIZE SYSTEM

1. Click "Customize"
2. In the cute little search thing type "flexible squares"
3. Click the "Apply Theme" button for any theme (I'm clicking "Black, White, and Red All Over," but honesly I don't believe it matters which theme you pick so long as it's a flexible squares one)
4. Click "Customize" Under the theme
5. Click the last link in this new section "Custom CSS"
6. Make sure all dropdown boxes say "NO"
7. Copy and paste the override code into the box provided
8. Click "Save Changes" and there you have it!

Yay! I'm so happy you like the layout. The picture of Bonnie is actually from the dancing scene with Neville at the Yule Ball (she really is just too darn pretty, I hope they finally emphasize that in the next movie). Thank you so much for the comment!

Thanks! If you can't figure out how to get the images on photobucket and back in the code please don't hesitate to ask (thank you for attempting to do that by the way, I know it's a bit of a hassle, but I always feel bad when I get a message from someone saying their header suddenly disappeared. This is my preventative measure to hopefully not have that happen in the future). Thank you so much for the wonderful comment!

I was wondering though, would I be able to use the codes for the first layout, but change the images? I'd understand if I couldn't, since I'm sure it took you a long time to make it, but I would still credit you for everything and link people to the original layout in my profile. Thanks either way :D

I took the first one..Its superb...
I also put in the pictures on my Photobucket account for the urls...but its somehow coming across slightly shifted ::shrugs helplessly:: You'l understand better if you have a look at my journal.
::banging head on table:: Why just can't I pt it right in my first chance...::sighs:: Guess I need more practise.

Here'e the code I put in (I've sent it aas a message). Hope you'll find the program and won't be irriated with me as much as I am with myself :D

P.S. -Also tell me how to credit it to you at the journal.

the code was too long to send you as a message too. So you need it? I just changed the urls as follows:

Ah ha! I've run into this problem before. For some reason Photobucket is stupid and will (by default) resize pictures to a max of 800 px width, which of course, doesn't work for these layouts. Here's what you need to do....

When you go to upload images you'll see this:
" max image size: 1024 x 768 (options) "
---->Well it wont say 1024 x 768 I think it says 800 x 600 or something similar

click on options
click 17" screen 1024 x 786
then reupload the images
this wont change the size of the images and they should fit properly

Hey! I came here via deviantArt, following the trail of your gorgeous HP wallpapers. And you do layouts, too! I especially like the second one. I'm not much into femmeslash, but even so, it's pretty. ^-^

And now that I see you do requests as well ... Um, can I just ask fpr soemthing, and if you have the time and inclination, you'll do it? Or what is the correct way of asking for something?

About the something: I want to create an archive here on LJ (or maybe over at IJ) for Harry/Draco/Severus threesome fics in the manner of the

snarry_reader. I'd love to have a designed layout instead of one those LJ offers. And since I'm completely incapable of doing it myself (can't even edit my own pictures, that's how stupid I am), I'd really love you to create one. If you're willing.

Please let me know what I can do to intice you. ^-^
